The attached information concerns volunteer work at Carmel Hills Retirement Community. Much volunteer work has been done here through the years, which we appreciate. Now, because of new regulations, the need for more record keeping, and having to keep track to some extent of volunteer hours, it has become necessary to give this information to you and have your signature that you have read it. Most of it is common sense that you know already. This in no way changes the need for volunteers or makes it more difficult to volunteer. There are many jobs to be done all the time that make it impossible for the regular staff to keep up with along with their regular job description.
